PEE WEE DIVISION:
The Pee Wee Orange continues to get better every week. Ryan Kalman had an amazing open field tackle on a kickoff using perfect form. Michael Molle ran the offense efficient and effective with perfect QB center exchange between him and Gavin Romanowski. The line block well and Justin Mosley had 3 long touchdown runs.
The Silver Pee Wees was stunned by an early TD on East Boca’s first offensive series. But fought back to win it 12 – 6. We were tied going into halftime, and our Offense controlled the ball for most of the second half with the ground and pound. The Silver Pee Wee O line dominated up in the middle. With RT Elan Warren, “Big E”, providing the push the Silver Dragons needed to keep moving the ball and the sticks. Zack Stevens rushed for 2 TDs. Devon Spring also gave a solid rushing performance. But it was our defense that won the game. Our corners, Noah Michaelson and Blake Finizio did a great job of stopping the outside rush. A fumble by East Boca in the final minute, recovered by Ty Stevens, sealed the deal.
FRESHMEN DIVISION:
Orange Dragons 38 VS East Boca Chargers 0
The Freshman Orange Dragons continued their unbeaten season with a convincing 38-0 victory over the East Boca Chargers. 5 different players scored touchdowns for the Orangemen. On 4 of those touchdowns Billy Stricker kicked the extra points for another 8 points! The Orange Crush defense was led by Noah Fairbanks, Jordan Zietz and Ethan Edge. We did give up one first down tonight, that makes 3 for the season, but we remain un-scored upon. The offensive line anchored by Nicholas Mazur, Romeo Sanchez and Leo Jaquin did a great job of opening the holes for the Dragon backs.
Silver Dragons 18 VS East Boca Bears 0:
Controlling the line of scrimmage was the name of the game tonight as the Silver Dragons left the unfriendly confines of Patch Reef Park and hand the then-undefeated Bears their first defeat of the year. After Dylan Jones-Lewis took the opening kick-off to the house, the Silver Dragons took an early 6-0 lead. Silver Dragon’s defense was then able to take over the rest of the game. Strong play by the defensive line consisting of Cameron Dunn, Xavier Cardenas, Joseph Zapata (Payer of the Game) and Jake Kagno, the Silver Dragons were able to hold off the high-powered attack of the Bear’s running attack. The new revamped offense was able to get two additional scores from their speedy quarterback, Justin Guilfu, and their powerful halfback, Christian Opalsky, In addition to these two scores, the Silver Dragons were able to expose the Bear’s exterior with superior blocking from TE, Christian Bolden and Josh Weidlich, and WRs, Lior Polani and Ryan Cohen.
JUNIOR VARSITY:
JV Silver Dragons 28 VS East Boca Miami Hurricanes 6
Behind two touchdowns from Nate Nelson (50 & 15 yards), and a 60-yard touchdown from Aaron Angelos to Tristan Smith. Miles Franklin two extra point conversions. Great offensive line play by the Silver dragons led by Kevin Cline, Matt Harmorsky, and Benji Vogel. Shut down defense by the Silver Dragon team in the second half.
JV Orange 20 vs. JV Light Blue 0
Orange Dragons: Offense: Shane Ellis (C) manned up and played with one useable arm to lead the offensive line in opening holes for running backs Patrick Consbruck (TD), Jonathan Swartz (TD), and Brennan Corey (TD). Defense: The defense came through again with another shutout. Outstanding pass coverage by James Bentayou (S), Jonathan Schwartz (OLB), and Brennan Corey (OLB) (INT) kept the opponents at bay and solidified the win.
Teal Dragons Beat the East Boca Lions 32-0
Ryan Schneider had a Monster day starting with a huge kick return to start the game. With over a 100 yards rushing, a rushing touchdown, and a receiving touchdown to top the day. Great Job Ryan!!! Izaiah Mitchell scored on a rushing touchdown, Johnny Staten scored on a receiving touchdown and both played solid on defense. Mason Moch contributed with 2 passing touchdowns and a receiving touchdown thrown by Zach Hammann. Zach was 2-4 on the day passing with 75 yards and a touchdown. With great Defensive play the coach’s are very happy with the team midway through the season.
VARSITY DIVISION:
Gold Dragons 38 VS East Boca Packers 0
Two Td scored by Mathew Gross, Two TD by Brandon Rashkin, TD run by Robbie Geller. Great game by Daniel Tabari, Kyle Romano, and Logan Trujillo on the offensive line. Keandre Miller on defense.
Silver Dragons 34 VS East Boca Patriots 14
Silver’s offensive line showcased their dominance by opening up gaping holes for Bradley Feingold, Frank Sonnie and Dylan Dalbey who put up 5 rushing touchdowns all together. Silver’s offense overwhelmed the Pat’s defense by not getting stopped on any drives. Defensively, the Silver Dragons showed unbelievable effort with Dante Gulla and Tahj Laguerre leading the pack. Also in on great defensive plays were Jonathan Resnick, Bradley Feingold and Joe Poloskey.
Lt. Blue Dragons 12 vs. East Boca Giants 24
Blue’s comeback effort fell short in the second half, falling to the Giants 24-12. Kickoff return for a touchdown by Jonathan Gebka and a short TD run up the middle by Tommy Morelli. Defensively, Aaron Deen played well.
Orange Dragons 32 VS East Boca Falcons 6
Orange Dragons was led by strong defense all night from Tyler DeVita, Tito Thompson & Stevie Santoro. Offense was led by the strong line play of Jake Yermes, Scott Sokoloff, Alec Gorbell, Tristan Leser & Mark Rivera. Scoring was led by Colby Saul’s 3 touchdown runs as Cliff Arthaud scored his 1st rushing touchdown of the year.
